WE HAVE GROWN…….

In December 2010, we broke ground for our new addition.  Here is where we are as of today:

We will begin 2012 with a completed 63,000 square foot facility equipped with 2 gymnasiums, a wellness center with several pieces of cardio and strength equipment, a free weight area, an indoor pool and two studios for fitness classes. We recently added a cycling room where we now offer several classes each week of instructor led cycling.  Our YMCA also has a conference room, a colorful and entertaining child watch, family locker rooms and a walking track.  As 2012 progresses we have added and continue to add several new programs for the youth.  At the Y, we have a responsibility to the youth of our community.  This includes mentoring them not only in sports but in the areas of arts and social responsibility.  Please come in and see us for a guided tour and to learn more about the programs we offer.  Mattoon YMCA–Something for Everyone!
