At the Y, we believe in social responsibility.
With a CPR certification, you could help save the life of someone you love. Our goal is to certify as many of our friends and neighbors as we possibly can so that, together, we can form a safer community. CPR certification is open to members of the public, non-profit organizations, and employers.
This class will train you in First Aid/CPR/AED for Adult, Child, and Infants. Class is four hours in length and requires you to perform physical skills. In order to be certified you must participate in all skill sessions and scenarios, demonstrate competency in all required skills. Classed are held in the Community Rooms at the YMCA facility that is listed. Classes in Mattoon begin at 5:30 PM and in Toledo at 5:45 PM.
The Y also offers on-site training for businesses and organizations. If you are in need of a group certification at a time other than what we have scheduled, please reach out to AJ Sears at (217) 234-9494 to talk about scheduling a course for your staff.
